Swartkei Safaris consists of three privately owned areas all within a 2-hour drive of each other. They are Bowers Hope Lodge nestled in the Winterberg Highlands, Ezulu Game Reserve in the arid Fish river valley and Puti River Lodge overlooking the Indian Ocean.

BOWERS HOPE LODGE
Situated in the scenic foothills of the Winterberg mountain range along the Swartkei river near Queenstown. Ranging from 4000 to 6000 feet, the terrain varies from rugged deep gorges and cliffs to flat open plains offering breathtaking sunsets and sunrises. During winter cold conditions can be expected with snow on the high mountains. Accommodation is luxurious with en-suite bathrooms and fireplaces. When staying with us you will experience life in tradtional ranch style, where hospitality and cuisine is of the finest.
EZULU GAME RESERVE
Situated in the arid Fish River area between the historic towns of Bedford and Grahamstown you will experience the uniqueness of hunting in valley bushveld. E-Zulu Game Reserve comprises of 3 uniquely different lodges from the luxurious Salisbury Plain, the intimate E-Zulu Tented Camp and Zingela Lodge.
